Option B
This option is an extended learning journal entry and provides you a further opportunity to
develop your critical reflexivity.
Choose an issue/topic from the textbook and reflect thoughtfully on this. You might relate the
issue/topic to an experience that you’ve had, something you’ve read/watched online, an item
from the news etc. The aim of the reflection is to generate insight/learning.
You can choose an issue/topic that you did not cover in your learning journal entries earlier in
the course. Alternatively, you might build on a topic/issue that you did cover in one of those
entries. If you take this approach, you must make it clear that you are doing so and include
the earlier entry in your list of references. Please sure you are building on (rather than
repeating) points made in the earlier entry.
You will be assessed on the following criteria. The final mark is a holistic judgement of the
quality of your answer. There is no fixed weighting for each marking criterion.
