The objective of this scoping review is to map out current evidence base regarding influence of incivility within osteopathic clinical education. It is relevant to healthcare because patient care might be affected by the uncivil behaviour. This scoping review will be useful in outlining existing evidence and identifying knowledge gaps regarding the issue of incivility within osteopathic clinical education. It might help to inform future primary research of this topic.
There is no papers describing the issue exactly within osteopathic clinical education so the search needs to be expanded into clinical education within other healthcare disciplines like physiotherapy and nursing.
Strategies used to minimise the risk of errors, bias and inaccurate conclusions will be the use of Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic and Meta-Analysis Protocol, Scoping Reviews extension, systematic literature search and inclusion and exclusion criteria.
